Nothing about you on the sticker
The sticker only shows a random code. Your name, address and phone number are never printed on it.
What we process, and why

Finders are anonymous
You don't need an account or to give your name to send a message. The owner only sees what you write and, if you choose, your location.
Processors
- Cloudflare: hosting, database, file storage and bot protection
- Stripe: payment
- Resend: sending email
- Prodigi: printing and shipping. Receives name, delivery address and phone number.
Some of these process data outside the EEA. Transfers are based on the EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep data
- Locations and photos from finders are deleted 90 days after the conversation was closed or last active.
- Messages are deleted after 12 months.
- Order and payment information is kept for five years, as required by the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act.
- Your account is kept until you delete it. Your codes are then deactivated.
Cookies
We only use one cookie, to keep you logged in. We don't use tracking or analytics.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing. Email hei@finnmerke.no. You can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
